Anything but a card with Secret Crafter WK#187

Good Morning my lovelies and how very good it feels to be 

back, the sun is shining the wind is warm and it 

almost feels like summer is on the way....

 I don't want to jinx it lol.

So how have you been my friends I hope that life has been

 kind to you all.....

This is my Inspiration piece for this week 

I bought this wooden heart plaque a few weeks ago from 

Calico Crafts I thought it would be perfect for this week,

and its also something that I haven't done much of,

so I was pretty pleased the the outcome, I used a memento

 ink pad to stamp the lovely Tilda on to the plaque.

 I took my time for a change and coloured her over a 

couple of days, I used copics to colour her then I masked

 her out and sponged on some TH Distress inks the 

inks were a little to bright so I sanded some of the ink off 

then I used some Versa ink around the outside and some

 gold embossing powder just to give it a little bit of a frame

the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts .

I used a Lilli of the Valley Stamp I coloured the
image with Copics the papers are from My Minds Eye
they are a couple of years old, the wispy Snowflakes border
is a die form Memory Box.

Its a mans world with Crafty Catz Challenge #134

Hello my lovelies I hope you have all been well this past

 5 weeks or so, I have missed you all so very much, 

the reason behind my lack of blogging is my Mum, she was 

diagnosed with some skin cancer a while back and the 

biopsies she had, had become infected so we were off to the

 hospital every day so they could soak her leg and clear 

the infection so she could have the carcinoma's removed,

she has since had two removed one on her forehead and one 

on her leg.

On to this weeks challenge,the lovely Linda chose this weeks 

 theme and she would like to see A Card for a Man

so why not come along and join us for some fun and 

total craftiness.

This is my inspiration piece for this week

I used two digital images one is from Kenny K

 downloads and she is called Carmen Electrifying
I coloured her with Copic's, I used Y13, Y15 ,Y18 for the
flames on her boots and  C02, C04, C06, C08 for the black.
The Ford Capri is from la Pashe I used the pre coloured
   but it also came with a outline stamp and several sayings
and greetings, but it doesn't seen to
be available in digital form any more.

Well my darlings it feels very good to be back and I
would like to say a huge Thank You to all of
my amazing followers you guys totally rock.

Its a Man's World.....with Secret Crafter Wk #181

Hello my lovelies its Saturday yippee, we have a
little sunshine this morning that always makes a
difference to how you feel doesn't it, I have bit of
head cold.... not nice plus I a bit of a late night last night
I was up at 4:40am yesterday and I didn't go to
bed until midnight because Cowboy's and Aliens arrived
in the post, so I just had to watch that .......


Now on with this weeks Secret Crafter Challenge
the theme for this week is a Man's Card and it

This is my offering for this weeks theme

for my card I used a Kenny K digi called
 Carmen Electrifying  , I coloured her with copic's
I used some Glossy Accent's on her boot to give them
a high shine leather look, the birthday sentiment is
a stamp from Anita Attic its a very old stamp, the
papers are from DCWV La Crème Stack.

This is my inspiration piece for this week,

 I have used this adorable Elephant from

LOTV I am a little ashamed to admit that this

is the first time its been covered in ink, I coloured the 

Elephant with copics I used Warm Grey 02, 04 05

 for the bubbles I used my 0000's BV, R, G.

I used my trusted nesties to frame him and the 

sketch is from Deconstructing Jen,

 the papers are from Cosmo Cricket available as 

download from Jessica Sprague its quite plain and simple

 but it has the cute factor lol. its not quite straight though, 

I think its the kraft card thats its mounted on to it 

doesnt seem to have a straight side on it and if your first cut is 

wonky then they all tend to be lol.
